Clarkson got a special award
It was a night to remember for Jeremy Clarkson at the prestigious National TV Awards as both he and his show Top Gear scooped prizes.
Top Gear won Most Popular Factual Programme, while Clarkson was stunned to receive a Special Recognition Award from Britain’s F1 prodigy Lewis Hamilton.
Clarkson said: “I don't know what to say, thank you. It's not like a job, it's a playground. Thank you to my family, my mum, wife, children, and then there's Richard and James..." :
He then quipped: "Without whom, well... this would still have been possible. Thanks!"
