NUREMBERG - Frankenstadion
Capacity: 41,926
The home of FC Nurnberg, the Frankenstadion has been refurbished at a cost of 56million to take its capacity for this tournament over the 40,000 mark.
Built on the site of the Municipal Stadium, which opened in 1928 and housed 50,000 spectators, the newly-named and newly-constructed arena hosted its first event in 1991.
It has since seen its pitch lowered and had the addition of two new stands and received global attention when hosting three matches during the Confederations Cup.
