BERLIN - Olympiastadion

BERLIN - Olympiastadion
Capacity: 74,220

Reconstructed at a cost of 242million euros between 2000 and 2004, Berlin's Olympiastadion was originally built for the 1936 Olympic Games, attracting worldwide attention as the scene for Jesse Owens' heroics.

A hugely different arena will greet the world's eyes as the venue for this summer's final, though, with over 74,000 seats now filling the home of Hertha Berlin.

The home of the DFB Pokal final and a "sporting jewel" in the words of Germany's Interior Minister Otto Schily, its most eye-catching feature is the listed Marathon Gate which means its roof is not a complete oval.
