Pink lemonade

An old-fashioned favourite...
Ingredients
  • 10 large lemons
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 6 teaspoons of honey
  • 12 raspberries
  • Chopped ginger
Method
  1. Slice all the lemons in half. Using a juicer squeeze all the juice and pour into a jug.
  2. If you don't have a juicer, crush the raspberries and the chunks of ginger with a mortar and pestle and pour the pulp and juice into the mixture.
  3. Pour the water, sugar and honey into the concoction and stir well until the sugar and honey has completely dissolved.
  4. Taste and add more honey if it tastes too sharp.
