Receiving the same email over and over?

There are a few reasons why you might have trouble receiving new mail. One of these might be a mail block, which happens if someone has sent you an email that’s too large for you to receive. It can also happen if the email has been corrupted during sending.

The best way to solve this is to go into webmail. After you’ve logged in, you’ll arrive directly at your webmail mailbox, where all your incoming emails are stored before any email applications (like Outlook Express and Mac Mail) download them from our server.

Just above the list of emails in your mailbox, you’ll find some sorting options, including Size. The most efficient way of clearing a mailbox blockage is by clicking 'Size' once - this put the largest emails at the top of the list. As a rule of thumb, any emails larger than 500KB could potentially be causing blockages. To remove the problematic email(s), simply tick the box to the left of any emails over 500KB and click Delete. The emails have now been moved to the Trash folder, which you can access by selecting Trash in the menu to the left of the screen.
