The Internet Security Team is responsible for enforcing Virgin Media's Internet Terms and Conditions and User Policy. They ensure that customers adhere to the Acceptable Use guidelines as outlined in the following two documents:

To send an abuse report to the Internet Security Team about misuse originating from Virgin Media please use our online form. (Virgin Media are compliant with RFC methods of reporting misuse). Please note that this form will only accept reports about users on the Virgin Media network.
The Acceptable Use Team's contact details are published both here and on ripe.net in order to make ourselves available to Virgin Media customers who have a query regarding Internet security.
We spend much of their time helping and advising customers on how they can proactively secure their PCs and how they can clean their PCs up when they have been compromised. It is fundamental that users also take responsibility for their own online security.
Virgin Media are members of the ISPA UK and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and follow recommendations made by the IWF. The Internet Security Team are also members of the Ispforum.net, an association consisting of ISP network abuse teams.
