Selfcare - Password information

How can I use Selfcare to change my email password?

Important: If you change the password for your primary mailbox (i.e. not username_2, _3, etc.), then this will also change the password you use to access Selfcare, and the password you use to connect to the Internet if you are a dial-up customer.

  1. Log into Selfcare.
  2. From within the mailbox area, click on the plus sign and then click the option called Change password for this mailbox.

    change email password
  3. Choose a new password and type it into the box provided. Note the following about your new password:

It must be at least 6 characters long.

It must be no more than 10 characters long.

The first character of the password must be a letter (a-z).

The password can contain letters (a-z) and numbers (0-9), but no symbols. We recommend you use a mixture of letters and numbers for added security (for example, n3wyork12). You may want to have a prompt in mind for your password, to help you remember it - for example, favourite place, place of birth, pet's name.

The password is case sensitive, that is you must always retype it exactly as you enter it here. So, for example, lower case "n" is different to upper case "N".

Follow the on screen instructions to enter the password.
