There are five lights on your Terayon Terajet 210; these are POWER, CABLE, PC, DATA, and TEST. Check each of the lights in turn to make sure it does not indicate a problem.

POWER
The POWER light should stay lit to indicate power to your Terayon cable modem.
If the POWER light fails to stay lit, unplug the cable modem from the electrical supply and plug it into a different socket.
If the POWER light remains unlit, please call Virgin Media technical support who’ll help you get to the bottom of it with some more tests.

CABLE
The CABLE light flashes whilst the Terajet is searching for a connection to the Internet, and goes solid once the cable modem has 'locked on' to the network.
If this light does not stay solid after several minutes, an engineer will need to attend to investigate. To arrange this, please call Virgin Media technical support.

PC
The PC light lets you know there’s a connection between the cable modem and your computer.
If the PC light is not lit, this means that it is not possible to pass data to and from your computer - make sure that the lead connecting your cable modem to your computer is connected and secure.
(Make sure that you only have one lead connecting your Terajet to your computer; either a USB lead or an Ethernet lead - not both).

DATA
The DATA light flashes to indicate when data is being sent and received by your computer.

TEST
The TEST light is used to indicate a possible fault with the modem.
If the POWER light fails to stay lit, and/or the TEST light remains solid, it is likely that a fault has developed with the hardware - an engineer will need to attend to investigate. To arrange this, please contact Virgin Media technical support
