The Pace set top box has a light that lets you know whether the broadband service is available. This is sometimes referred to as the MCNS light (Multimedia Cable Network Systems), and is located on the light panel on the right hand side of the main display panel of your set top box.

If the MCNS light is off or flashing, there may be a possible problem with the broadband connection. This will affect the broadband service and standard digital interactive services (if you’ve got them).
You’ll still be able to watch normal television channels, however interactive services and broadband services from the set top box will not work.
It’s important to check that the set top box is not in stand by mode. It is normal for the MCNS light to be off when the box is in stand by mode.
If the MCNS light is not lit solid:
If the light doesn't stabilise, and no faults are reported on the server status page, contact Virgin Media technical support.
